Las Vegas Restaurants: Five Spots Perfect for Date Night

Five restaurants perfect for a memorable date night on the town.

As one of the best hubs for dining experiences, Las Vegas is home to a plethora of restaurants perfect for creating the most memorable date nights. With so many options to choose from, it makes planning a special night out on the town pretty easy. But which places lead the pack in showcasing the best food and atmosphere? Here are five of the best date night restaurants in Las Vegas:

Water Grill

About the restaurant: Water Grill is a beautiful nautical restaurant that sits in the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. As the restaurant strives to bring the freshest seafood from boat to restaurant, Water Grill offers superior seafood that will satisfy the palettes of all fish lovers. Originally hailing from Los Angeles, Water Grill has the best seafood in Southern California, according to Zagat.

The Las Vegas location first made a splash in 2019 and has earned the title of “Las Vegas Destination for Seafood.” I attended a hosted tasting recently and loved the seafood options. The restaurant serves some savory dishes like clam chowder, crab cakes, fresh oysters, New England lobster rolls, sushi and much more. Some entrées include oceanic favorites like wild salmon, softshell crab and Chilean seabass, while other fine-cut dishes include delicious ribeye and filet mignon. The restaurant also serves a raw bar and their famous iced seafood platter, including Peruvian Bay scallops, mussels, jumbo shrimp, lobster, crab, oysters and littleneck clams.

Why it’s a great date night spot: Not only will the food impress any seafood lover, but with its moody atmosphere, light wood nautical decor, and attentive staff, Water Grill will genuinely take care of the dining experience while you and your date can focus on enjoying each other’s company. The restaurant has indoor seating with comfy booths and a beautifully decorated bar area while also offering patio seating. You and your date can enjoy the view of the Forum Shops under strings of beautifully lit Edison lights.

Dolce & Chianti Cucina

About the restaurant: If you’re looking for a restaurant that offers the same swanky and glamorous experience you’d find on the strip, but you want to avoid bigger tourist crowds, then Dolce & Chianti Cucina comes highly recommended! This hidden gem is located on Durango and Rochelle Avenue and is family-owned and operated. I attended a hosted event recently and we especially enjoyed the live entertainment! The restaurant offers a delicious Northern Italian menu featuring shareables like calamari fritti, jumbo prawns and a bruschetta trio along with various salads, pizzas and pasta dishes. Their entree list spans from seared salmon Tuscano to veal Milanese to a delicious 16 oz ribeye. And of course, you can’t forget about dessert! Choose from their lemon ricotta cheesecake, espresso panna cotta, or their salted caramel budino.

Why it’s a great date night spot: Although off the beaten path of the usual high-end dining experiences in Las Vegas, Dolce & Chianti Cucina stands out with its unique decor of greenery, lemons, blue tones, and elegant chandeliers. The restaurant also has the Blue Chandelier Bar, an elaborately decorated space that serves wine and other housemade drinks. Try reserving a table Wednesdays through Sunday nights as the restaurant features a piano bar and live show. It’s the perfect entertainment to pair with a deliciously prepared Italian meal!

Eiffel Tower Restaurant

About the restaurant: For the ultimate romantic experience that offers the best views of the Las Vegas strip, the Eiffel Tower Restaurant doesn’t disappoint! The restaurant is located inside the Paris Hotel and Casino at the top of the Eiffel Tower replica. In the dining room, guests are immediately greeted with a spectacular view of the strip and the Bellagio fountain shows as they wine and dine. A mix of high-end French and American cuisines can be found here as the menu offers appetizers like smoked salmon & brioche, steak tartare and escargot. As for entrees, guests can pick various salads, a vegetarian dish, and, if you want to get fancy, different types of caviar. For entrees, four seafood plates and nine meat dishes rule the dinner menu.
